So I type in Vincent Price on IMDb-
and find that he hosted a TV game show in 1958 called "E.S.P."

never knew that............

Summary: It backfired in their faces.

This show appeared around the time that ESP had become rather popular. The idea was to get contestants who claimed to have ESP and challenge them to win prizes. Keep in mind that this was also around the time of the quiz show scandals. This show took every amountable precaution to ensure that no one would cheat. What they found was that no one actually had ESP!! It was a scam that backfired in the producers' faces. Most contestants were eliminated within the introductory rounds. As I understand it, the show itself only lasted through about 3 episodes. I doubt it was ever anything close to the shining star on Vincent Price's resume.

I'll see if I can get some time this weekend, but for some reason when I start to watch it, my wife won't let me be and just keeps sitting there looking at the screen and huffing silently........until I ask what is wrong......then, well, you can guess.


I don't have her trained well enough yet to leave the room. Any hints/tips?
